How do mechanical properties in different spatial domains of the cell wall affect geometry and stress distribution? We employ a continuum mechanics constitutive framework for transverse isotropic tissues (Garcia-Gonzalez et al., 2018) to explore contributions of cell wall anisotropy and stiffness in different spatial domains of the cell, like cell's geometric edges.
